How does a conference photo wall work without a social network?
Open the slideshow on the laptop driving the screen and leave it. It holds an open connection to the event, so a photo appears within moments of being published, with no refreshing and no hashtag to police. A social wall without social media walks through running one at a conference.
It shows only photos that are public and have passed their check. A hidden or held photo cannot reach the screen, which is what makes it safe to run unattended in front of a room. See How do I run the live slideshow?
Who decides what reaches the screen?
You do, with your team. The safety check runs first, and people you choose make every call it leaves open.
- Safety checks first. Every photo and every feedback entry is checked before it appears; anything the check is unsure about is held for a person.
- One queue. Approve or hide the photos you tick, or the whole queue in one go, with any photo the check flagged left to approve one by one. Or switch on Require approval so nothing appears until someone publishes it.
- Moderators. Invite colleagues to help. They work the queues; only the event owner changes settings, billing and branding. See How do I add a moderator?

Can attendees leave feedback as well as photos?
Yes. On a corporate event the guestbook becomes Feedback: attendees share takeaways publicly and can leave organisers a private note. The scavenger hunt has a ready-made Corporate Event set, or you can write missions of your own, with points and a leaderboard.

Can we run it for clients’ conferences and Christmas dos?

Do attendees need to install anything?
No. Attendees scan the QR code or open the link in their phone’s browser. There is no app, no account and no password.
Can we run a photo wall at a conference or an away-day?
Yes. The slideshow runs in a browser on whatever drives your screen and updates itself as photos are published. Only checked, public photos are ever shown.
Can several people moderate?
Yes. Invite colleagues as moderators; each signs in with their own Mosaikin account. The number included comes with the event’s plan and is listed on the pricing page.
Is it a subscription?
No. Each event is a one-off payment with nothing recurring, starting at Premium £89. For a larger event, several events, client work or a tailored day, Enterprise is tailored to you: tell us about it and we will book a call.
Who can see attendees’ photos?
You choose whether the gallery is open to anyone with the link, protected by an access code, or private to attendees who have joined. Location data is stripped from every photo before it is stored.
