Wedding photo sharing app: every guest’s photos in one album
Mosaikin is wedding photo sharing without the app: every guest’s photos and videos in one shared album. Guests scan a QR code on the tables and upload from their phone’s browser, with no account. Every photo is checked before it appears, the slideshow fills itself on the big screen, and the wedding plan keeps the whole album: Premium £89, once.
Built in the UK, for UK celebrations. Run under UK law, with safeguarding built in as standard: every photo is checked before it is shown, and we report what the law says we must. You keep the lot, and share it as and when you like in a digital guestbook and album.
How do guests share their wedding photos?
Put the QR code on table cards, the order of service or a poster (how a QR code for wedding photos works). A guest points their phone camera at it, the event opens in the browser, and they can add photos straight away. Nobody downloads anything, creates an account or types a password. To make the sign itself, the wedding QR code sign maker turns your event link into a table card or poster to print.
That matters more than it sounds. In reviews of other guest-photo apps, the complaint that comes up most is guests who never joined, nearly always because scanning the code led to an app download or a sign-in. A word from you helps too: how to collect photos from wedding guests covers before, during and after the day, and how to brief guests to take photos you will keep gives you the words.
- Photos and videos from the camera or the camera roll, up to twenty at a time.
- Built for venue signal. Photos wait on the guest’s phone if the connection drops and carry on when it returns; videos upload in pieces, so a dropped connection resumes rather than starting again. See how photo uploads survive venue WiFi.
- The guestbook: a public message for the two of you, and an optional private note only you see. More in the digital wedding guestbook.
- A scavenger hunt, if you want one: “Cutting the cake”, “Worst dance move”, with a leaderboard. The Wedding Classics set applies in one click.
Does it replace our wedding photographer?
No, and it is not meant to. Your photographer takes the portraits and the moments you planned. Your guests catch everything else: the table that started singing, the speech from the back of the room, the dance floor after the photographer has gone home. Mosaikin gathers those into one album beside the professional set.
Delegate the day. Ask the best man, a bridesmaid or your planner to look after the album as a moderator, so you are never checking your phone at your own wedding. The wedding plan includes 5 moderators, each with their own sign-in. See How do I add a moderator?
Is every photo checked before it reaches the screen?
Yes. Every photo and guestbook message is held until it has passed a safety check. Anything the check is unsure about waits for you or a moderator instead of appearing. If a check cannot run, the photo stays held: doubt means more review, never less.
Location data is stripped from every photo before it is stored. You choose who can open the gallery: anyone with the link, guests with the event’s access code, or only the guests who have joined. You can switch on Require approval to see everything first, and hide or delete any photo with a tap.
The live slideshow shows only photos that are public and checked, and it updates itself as they arrive, so it is safe to leave running on the screen all evening: a wedding photo wall your guests fill themselves, with no hashtag needed (why wedding hashtags stopped working). See Are photos and messages checked before they appear?.
What do you keep after the wedding?
- The full archive: every photo as one ZIP, at full display size, with camera metadata removed. Planning prints? What resolution guest photos really have.
- A printable guestbook: a typeset PDF of every approved message.
- A highlight reel: an MP4 built from the photos you featured and the ones guests liked most: a guest photo highlight reel to send round the morning after.
- A word cloud of the words your guests used most.
The keepsakes come with the wedding plan, and the archive stays available for 5 years after the wedding. We would still rather you downloaded your own copy early: it does not depend on us.

Questions people ask
Do our guests need to download a wedding photo sharing app?
No. Guests scan the QR code or open the link and use their phone’s browser. There is no app, no account and no password, and nothing to remember the next day.
Is it an alternative to disposable cameras on the tables?
Yes. Guests already have a camera in their pocket, every photo reaches the one album as it is taken, and nothing waits to be developed or goes missing in a handbag. See what a disposable camera alternative gets you back.
How much does a wedding photo album cost on Mosaikin?
A wedding is Premium £89: one payment for the day, with room for 5,000 photos, every keepsake and 5 moderators. There is no subscription and nothing renews. You can set the event up and try it for free first.
Can guests upload videos as well as photos?
Yes. Guests can add videos in MP4, MOV or WebM up to 50 MB each, using the same buttons as photos.
Who can see the photos?
You choose. A gallery can be open to anyone with the link, protected by the event’s access code, or private to the guests who have joined. You and your moderators always see everything, and a guest can send a photo to you alone.
What happens if the venue has no signal?
Photos wait on the guest’s phone and upload when the connection comes back, and a failed photo can be retried from its tile. Reloading the page does not lose them.
How long are the photos kept?
A wedding on the Premium plan keeps its archive for 5 years after the day, and you can download your own copy at any time. Free events are kept for six months after the wedding, as the Host Terms set out.
