How do I delete my account, and what goes with it?
Account Settings has Delete Account; it erases your events, every photo and message in them, the stored files and your sign-in — permanently.
At the bottom of Account Settings. It is the most destructive thing in the product, so it asks you to prove it is you: enter your password, or — if you sign in with Google and have no password — choose Confirm with Google and sign in with Google again. You come back to Account Settings and confirm once more before anything is deleted. If you signed up with an emailed sign-in link and have never set a password, set one under Change Password first.
Deleting your account erases your events, every photo and guestbook message in them, the stored image files, and your sign-in identity. It cannot be undone and we cannot recover it afterwards.
Download first
Take the archive for any event you care about before you do this. Once the account is gone there is nothing left to download.
If you want a single event removed rather than everything, delete that event instead — see How do I delete an event?.
