What if I change phones?

The download key lives in this browser, not in an account, so a new phone cannot see the old session's photos and we cannot email it to you.

Guests have no account. The key that lets you open Your photos is saved in this browser on this phone, for 30 days, the first time a photo of yours finishes uploading. It is not tied to a name, an email or a login, and it does not move with you.

A new phone does not have that key. Opening the event link or scanning the QR code there starts a new join, and a new join is a new session: Your photos on the new phone will not list photos from the old one. There is nothing to type in to recover them.

We cannot email you a link. We do not have an email address for you, and we do not send one. Clearing this site's data, or opening the event in a different browser on the same phone, loses the key in the same way — it was only ever in that browser.
