What does pinning a photo do?

Up to six pinned photos sit at the top of your guests’ gallery and lead the highlight reel — pinning orders photos, it never publishes one.

On the Content tab, hover or tap a photo and choose the star (Pin to top). Pinned photos are shown at the top of your guests’ gallery, and they lead the selection for your highlight reel. You can pin up to six; the tab shows how many you have used, and to pin another you unpin one first.

Pinning changes nothing else. It does not publish a hidden photo, it does not clear a photo that is still waiting on its check, and it does not make a private photo visible. If a pinned photo is hidden or held, the pin simply has no visible effect until that changes. Your moderators can pin and unpin too.

Guests’ likes also feed the highlight reel’s selection, so a reel usually mixes what you pinned with what the room liked. Pinning does not set the cover — see How do I set a cover photo?.
