How do I hide or delete a photo?
Both are on the Content tab: hiding takes it out of the gallery but keeps it, deleting removes the image files for good.
- Hide takes the photo out of the public gallery, the slideshow and the reel. You keep it, you can show it again later, and it still counts towards your photo allowance. A hidden photo stops being served immediately, including to anyone holding a direct link to the image.
- Delete removes it permanently. The stored image files go with it and there is no undo — for you or for us. You are asked to confirm.
Hide is the right answer for “not for the wall”. Delete is the right answer when someone has asked you to take their photograph down, because it is the only one of the two that removes the picture itself. To hide or approve several photos waiting in the queue at once, see How do I approve or hide several photos at once?.
The Content tab holds every photo on the event, however many there are, a page at a time: more load as you scroll, or press Load more photos. The count at the top is the whole event’s, not only the photos loaded so far.
