I have just signed up — what should I do first?

Create the event, brand it, decide who can see the gallery, then get the QR code in front of your guests.

You do not need to set everything up at once. Fifteen minutes gets you an event guests can join, and everything else can be changed later — including on the day.

  1. Create the event — a name, a date and a template. Two minutes. See How do I create an event?.
  2. Make it look like yours — a welcome message and a colour. See How do I brand my event?.
  3. Decide who can see the gallery before you share anything. See What do the three privacy settings mean?.
  4. Get your guests in — the QR code, the link, or a printed poster. See How do I get guests into my event?.
  5. Set up the scavenger hunt if you want one — one click applies a ready-made set. A memorial has no hunt, so skip this step for one. See How do I set up the scavenger hunt?.
  6. Check it over before the day. See What should I check before the event starts?.

The one thing to get right first

The gallery privacy setting. Everything else is cosmetic and reversible; that one decides who can see your guests’ photographs.
